Practical Information
Floating Hides
The floating hides are used on shallow ponds and are designed for low-angle photography at water level.
They are stable, lightweight, and easy to handle in calm conditions.
Access and Equipment
Use of floating hides requires basic physical fitness and balance.
Waders are available on site; your own waders are recommended for best comfort.
Photographers must bring their own camera gear, tripod head, and dry bag for protection.
A short safety briefing is given before entering the water.
Conditions and Timing
Sessions take place early in the morning and in the evening, when light and bird activity are optimal.
Duration: approx. 4-5 hours.
The hides are used only in safe water and weather conditions.
Species
Typical subjects include stilts, avocets, ibises, herons, terns, and other wading birds active at close range.

Fixed Hides
The fixed hides offer stable conditions, eye-level perspectives, and longer sessions in comfort.
Access and Equipment
Access by car, short walk to the hide.
Each hide accommodates up to two photographers.
Photographers must bring their own tripod and tripod head.
Camera bags can remain inside; seating and small storage space provided.
Conditions and Timing
Sessions take place in the morning and evening.
Duration: approx. 4-5 hours per session.
Resting periods between sessions allow the sites to recover naturally.
Features
Each hide is equipped with one-way, non-reflective glass.
Windows are positioned for ideal light and background.
The hides are insulated, well-ventilated, and designed for long, silent observation.
